Whew. It’s been a day. As we are going on vacation next week (!!!), I’ve been getting things lined up with work so that I can get ahead. Still not there and pretty sick of my computer screen at this point.
I ran to Publix today spontaneously just to get out of the house for a minute. It was lovely. I also got to (briefly) catch up with a friend. I love how the small things can be such sources of rest and refreshment in our lives. We just have to make time for them.
Here’s what has been resonating with me this week…
- joy is a choice (often a hard one)
- we don’t celebrate as often as we should
- structure is a must for peace of mind
- “claritas” is an essential part of beauty—I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately
Things I’m excited about:
- vacation!!!
- laundry room makeover (Stephen’s handiwork)
- Monica wanting to be chased around
- Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus!!!
- homemade margs: lime juice + water + tequila = happy hour!
- Heather Robertson workouts
What I’ve been listening to:
- love this podcast about eating seasonally from Fit Mom Life to the Fullest
- this episode of the Jordan B Peterson podcast about the boyhood crisis was phenomenal
How is your week going?
In all sincerity,
Miranda
